OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T Start receiving new OxygenOS updates with Fnatic gaming mode, August security patch and more !!

OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T users are receiving new software updates, and are taking along with the Android 2019 Security Patch for August. Updates are also packed with general bug fixes and enhancements, a new password setting in Hidden Space, and a new Fnatic mode for an immersive gaming experience. Updates are posted in a gradual manner, and users are advised to install them as soon as they are received. If you don't want to wait for the update notification, you can check the update manually by going to Settings.

OnePlus 6T users receive the OxygenOS 9.0.16 update, while OnePlus 6 users receive the OxygenOS 9.0.8 update. The company says that online startup (OTA) is gradual in nature and will reach a small percentage of users at the beginning, with a wider offer starting for a few days. It is best to install the update over a good Wi-Fi network and when the phone is expensive.

The latest updates brought the August 2019 security patch for OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T. As a reminder, users of OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7 were the first to receive the security update, even before Pixel devices.

Depending on the changes, updates to OxygenOS 9.0.16 and OxygenOS 9.0.8 provide improved pocket mode, a fix for an issue with unresponsive apps, and a fix for an issue with fingerprint unlock when the screen recorder is on. The update also packs the new Quick Reply option in landscape mode, and can be enabled in Settings> Utilities> Quick Reply in normal mode.

The latest updates also provide a new password setting in Hidden Space, a new Fnatic mode for an immersive gaming experience, additional Zen mode features, DC dimming support, and VoLTE / VoWiFi for Bouygues support. As mentioned, updates include a large number of general bug fixes and improvements.
