Huawei launches Honor Holly 4 smartphone priced at Rs 11,999

Huawei's sub brand Honor has launched its Honor Holly 4 smartphone in India. The smartphone went on sale today only. The USP of the smartphone is its metallic design and a 13-megapixel camera.

Price and Availability

The Honor Holly 4 is priced at Rs 11,999 in India and will be available in Gold, Grey and Silver colour variants. The device will be available offline only as of now across the company's retail partner stores.


The dual-SIM smartphone runs the company's EMUI 5.1 operating system based on Android 7.0 Nougat. It has a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) display and is powered by a Snapdragon 430 SoC processor coupled with 3GB RAM. The smartphone features a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash and PDAF. On the front, the smartphone has a 5-megapixel camera.

Honor Holly 4 offers 32GB of storage which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. The smartphone runs on a 3020mAh battery.

The connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, Micro-USB with OTG support. There's also a fingerprint sesonr which doubles up as a configurable key for shortcuts. The device measures 143.7x70.95x8.2mm and weighs 144 grams.

Meanwhile, Huawei is gearing up to launch its flagship device Mate 10. The company has revealed that the device would be launched on October 10. Several leaks and rumours have pointed out that the Huawei Mate 10 could feature an edge-to-edge 6-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is said to be powered by company's own Kirin 970 processor.

Huawei is pitching the device as a competitor to the iPhone and has been taking digs at the Cupertino-based tech giant. The Mate 10's improved charging speed, cameras and other features will prove to be a competition for the new iPhone devices. "We will have an even more powerful product. The Mate 10, which has much longer battery life with a full-screen display, quicker changing speed, better-photographing capability and many other features that will help us compete with Apple," Richard YU, CEO, Huawei, told Bloomberg in an interview.
